I went here for Valentine's Day with my husband and it was a beautiful experience. The space is a bit small but cozy and it's perfect for a date night. Our table was decorated so cute with a rose in the middle and they took us in without reservations on a busy day and we were seated immediately. Our server was very kind and very attentive and made sure we received everything that we desired. I ordered the fasoulia and my husband had the kafta kebab which were two great choices. We also ordered the jasmine tea drink and it was the most pleasant tasting drink I have ever had, I definitely recommend. Our food was very flavorful and delicious. It exceeded expectations. The price was also reasonable and not overpriced at all. Thank you

Found this middle eastern gem "Zaytoons" as I was walking through prospect height in Brooklyn. There's nothing better than good halal, starting off with the Fatoosh Salad with crispy pita bitts giving it that extra crunch. This light but refreshing salad is easy to snack on as an appetizer. As for the main entree I had the Lamb Shawarma, I don't even know where to begin. The rice, hummus, mixed greens everything paired so well. Making it a very balanced dish. The lamb was tender, white sauce on top giving it that extra zesty flavors making it even better. I did get a taste of the chicken shawarma as well; just as good but something about the lamb that is just so delicious. I have to say it was my favorite. Portion is great size, you will definitely leave fulfilled without feeling sluggish. Side note this spot only accept cash payments.

I recently went to Zaytoons for lunch and had a fantastic experience. We started off with the appetizer platter, where we got to choose our own spreads. Ultimately we went with, Hummus, Babaganoush, Labneh, Zaytoons mix and the Fatoosh salad. Everything was fresh. The one thing that I might have switched out is the Zaytoons mix because it was a little bit too spicy for my pallet. It came with a very thin bread, which was more than enough for the spreads. For our meals we got the Shawarma wraps and it was delicious. It was a generous size portion and I was able to take half for lunch the next day and it still tasted just as good. The prices were reasonable. I would definitely go back to try their other items on the menu.

Restaurants like Zaytoons are part of the reason I love living in this neighborhood!! It's a super casual Middle Eastern cafe. They have everything you could want, from shawarma and kabobs to pizza. Their portion sizes are pretty big. The rice and fresh pita bread are perfect accompaniments to the delicious proteins. They really love tahini here! The shawarma fries are to die for. Make sure to sit in the patio if you can! It's beautiful and a nice place to catch up with family and friends. My two complaints: I hate that it's cash only and the service is very bad. They do not really check up on you after you place your order and they take forever to make your food.

Zaytoons offers delicious Middle Eastern food in a relaxed atmosphere. Ordering is all online through an app and payment is CASH ONLY. Service was quick & friendly and the portions are very large.

Get the fatoosh salad. It's a cucumber salad. Very fresh. I get it as a side dish. This place is good to go or to eat here

Tried this place as I visited NY for the first time and my friend and I enjoyed it! Main pluses: - tasty big portions for a good price - cozy ambiance for a date or hangout Opportunity for improvement: - service could be more frequent (not as personal and service didn't check on as often) - water glasses could be cleaner (some lip marks printed on our glasses)

Recently came here for lunch and got two platters. We almost ordered an extra side but was warned that the platter were big, they were right! The portions are generous. The platter combined perfectly grilled kafta kebabs, fragrant rice, creamy babaganoush, and a fresh salad that made a perfect combo! It comes with pita too. We were so full and had leftovers for another meal. If you're looking for a delicious affordable meal it is a must try! It's cash only!!
